Jelapang - "Mini Putrajaya"

Jelapang is a great location to develop as it is near Plus highway and Jalan Kledang Utara. Many government servants have moved to Jelapang making Jelapang become "Mini Putrajaya".

Meru, which has the name of "Mini Putrajaya" is situated near the Jelapang Tol. It has become a growth area in Ipoh real estate due to the well-developed transport on network.

The well-determined planning development of Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation, has transform Meru Raya from an abandoned rubber estate into an exciting trading area. Many government departments, once in Ipoh Southern have moved to Meru Raya.

Due to its intensive development, Majlis Bandaray Ipoh has divided Meru into several districts.

Government departments that have moved to Meru include Perak Immigration Department, National Registration Department of Perak, Drug Council, Perak Ministry Building, Perak State Forest Department, Perak Auditory Department and The Perak Anti-Corruption Commision.

There will be housing estates, shop houses, colleges, and a long distance ipoh bus terminal in the very near future in Meru Jaya.

One residential enclave in Meru Raya is Meru Valley Holiday village, where there are a private golf course, 3 stories terrace house, semi detach, and some bungalows. The housing and land value of Meru Valley and Meru Heights have increaed due to the high demand.

The construction of Bus Terminal by the Combined Bus Service Sdn Bhd (CBSB) is expected to be completed in the second  quarter of next year. Once the Bus terminal completed, it will provide numerous working opportunities.

There will be Mydin hypermarket, several business centres and a few other business development program nearby the Meru Raya Bus Terminal (Ipoh Sentral).

The three-storey terminal will consist of a business centre, cineplex, bowling alley, food court, basement car park and petrol kiosk. The construction started since May last year and is in fast progress.

Besides of the Bus Terminal Plans, there will be more government heardquarters buildings and Multimedia Super corridor in the Meru Raya development blueprint.

The way to Ipoh Meru Raya new township will be more convenient after the Ipoh flyways besides Plus Highway from Jelapang to Ampang is fully constructed.
